Writing a Book!
I’m pleased to share that I’ve just signed on with Neal-Schuman Publishers to write a book about Web 2.0 technologies and their use in the library and information fields. The idea for the project started a couple of months ago when I found an errant email sitting in my Yahoo! Spam folder inquiring about the possibility of writing a book based on a workshop I had given. I am just thrilled to have gotten this opportunity as a lot of people who I really respect have written for Neal-Schuman in the past. I am hoping to include many case studies and examples of libraries as well as librarians and informationists who are using Web 2.0 technologies in unique ways. Please be sure to contact me if you are either using new Web 2.0 technology or if you know of a really great implementation that should be mentioned in the book.
